•    1:30 p.m. Class of 1956 reunion at Bill Myers home, 1018 St. John Street
•    2:00 p.m.: Tractor pull
•    Fireworks beginning after dark
•    2 – 5 p.m. Class of 1957 reunion at Senior
Center in Faulkton
•    Class of 1960 reunion at home of Roger & Jan Melius after the meal at the park

Also the Mayor and Council have declared June 30, 2012 Carlos Sunne Day. Sunne was given this honor 25 years ago by the late Governor George Mickelson.

Front Page for May 16, 2012

These weekend will be graduation for the FHS class of 2012, so much of this week paper features stories and photos on the graduates. Also a school report and a story on Music Teacher Karen Wagner, who is leaving FHS this year. Also local poet and author Bruce Roseland has completed his third book, this time collaborating with Susan Melius, a local artist photographer. One final feature of note, Julie (Huss) Wieg broke the finish line on 10,000 miles of running this past Saturday! Congratulations Julie!
