It’s a hot one! The local farmers in Faulk County though are happier since last week saw enough rainfall to help out corn and soybeans that have struggled in the heat. In other news the hospital is pioneering new paitient software and there is a feature on World War 2 Veteran through the stories of his widow and grandson.

Faulk County Record for July 18, 2012

The local celebrations may have died down, but there is still a lot going on in Faulk County this week. Barb Vetter has become the South Dakota Amercian Legion President. Track star Melody Boke became the new coach for the Aberdeen Christian Knights volleyball team. Plans are underway for the 5th Faulk County American Cancer Society Walk/Run Event to be held Sunday, Sept.16 and there was a Mystification, a husband and wife magic show was hosted at the Lyric Theater on Monday.
