Faulk County Record for 3-19-14

Special Note: Results from the School Opt Out Vote are in as of 8:12 p.m. Tuesday evening. The measure was approved by voters with 401 total votes. 242 votes (60.35%) for yes and 159 votes (39.65%) for no.

St. Patrick’s Day was Monday. There are lots of stories in this issue. One on a new store in the retail store Stepping Stone Embroidery. Gene Toennies of Cresbard has announced his candidacy to the SD House of Representatives. Cecil Harris’ statue committee reports that funding for the project is now complete.
