There is so many important things going on this week that we are expanding the free post to 4 pages of the Faulk County Record. Things to take note of:
1 Faulkton Area Arts Council Murder Mystery Dinner Theater March 16.
2 FFA/Norhtern Plains Pancake breakfast March 17.
3 FCCLA baskeball 3×3 tournament to fight cancer next weekend March 23.
The Record for this week reflects how busy things are in our little community. The 3rd annual fitness challenge has started. There are several charity functions happening starting this weekend as well as a dinner theater show on Saturday.
This issue of the Faulk County Record we have a more comprehensive story on Texas cyclist Jeff Conly. Alongside a report on the City Council, we had a Pheasant nearly walk into our office last week and then fly up and land on our roof! Inside stories of not include the a report on Amazing Grace Baptist Church, the Legislature, wrap up of Boys Basketball for the season, and a Dakotafire story about successful rural after school programs.
Does the website look different to you?! That’s because it is… we got a little bit of a face lift, changed some things, fixed some others, but everything should be smooth sailing, and controls even simpler than they were before.
This week not only is the web version in color, but the print version is too. How about that!
Top stories are on events at the Faulkton Area Medical Center. Also there is a photo feature submitted by Brad Paul on a Texas rider who’s traveling the 48 contiguous states in the dead of winter. The FHS Boys Basket Ball team won their first district game on Monday night and sadly we must report on the death of Jewel Wheeler, who died of her injuries from a car crash this past Valentines day. The story is on Page 3, obituary on page 6.
This issue of the Record features a report on the school board, an accident near Rockham along highway 212, and a convoy of well wishers as Garry Cunningham left town for an experimental cancer treatment.
